The VI CNEL Report 2009: The integration issue
VI Value CNEL / Caritas index for the integration of immigrants in Italy published in January 2009 shows a change from previous editions, it presents a comparative analysis, taking into account data about the difference between the conditions of immigrants and the indigenous peoples themselves in local contexts.
In regions rich and developed in which immigration is stable there is a dissonance between the possibility that the economic system would be able to offer immigrants and what it offers in fact. Regions such as Emilia Romagna, which ever have more immigrants, at the same time offer their relatively less than the native reserve.
This difference between the conditions of indigenous peoples and those of immigrants is significantly reduced for regions such as Campania, all are able to offer "too little" to immigrants.
